Privacy Policy
Draft updated September 2, 2026. This practical launch draft is not a substitute for review by a Connecticut attorney.
Guest and signed-in progress
For guests, quest preferences, check-offs, achievements, and collection progress stay in the browser. When a customer signs in, SideQuest CT stores the account profile, check-offs, completed quests, and earned-card history so progress can synchronize between devices.
Photos
Collectible photos are processed on the customer's device for the downloadable card and are not uploaded to SideQuest CT. If photo storage is introduced later, this policy will be updated before that feature launches.
Payments
Stripe handles checkout and payment-card details under its own privacy terms. SideQuest CT receives limited order information such as the Stripe transaction identifier, purchase type, selected quest reference, payment status, and customer email when needed to unlock a purchase, provide support, or fulfill an order. SideQuest CT does not receive the customer's full card number.
Marketing permission
A customer's photo, blurb, or testimonial will not be used in advertising merely because it was used for a collectible. Separate written permission is required.
Your controls
The My Collection screen includes a control that clears saved check-offs, achievements, and earned-card history. For a signed-in customer, the same control also deletes synchronized quest progress from the account. Payment records required for transaction support, refunds, fraud prevention, and legal or accounting obligations are not erased by the progress control.
